There is one place I am afraid to go. This is the advance scientific field of computer science and engineering. Studying 3-7 hours/ day we realize how little we actually know. I just learned about such an important concept Polymorphism. This is a simple as using candle wax as surf wax. An object having multiple purposes is my simple understanding.

The challenge is when it is applied to computer science. Strachey first to call it polymorphism. In fact he qualified it as “parametric” polymorphism, in contrast to what he called “adhoc” polymorphism. An example of the latter is the use of “+” to denote both integer and real addition (in fact it may be further extended to denote complex addition, vector addition, etc.); this use of an identifier at several distinct types is often now called “overloading,” and we are not concerned with it. In this post then, we present and justify one method of gaining type flexibility.

The reason why I include such an advance concept in this article, on a mostly surfing blog is my renewed sortie into programming and robotics. I once won a few robotics competitions thanks to the hard ware. This inspired my foray into the nightmare called mechanical engineering.
My programming ability has always been weak. Design and the mechanical aspects can be simple. The challenge is telling the machine what to do. Micro-controllers that I use to operate on in my father’s laundromat are complex.
Still understanding the basics like soldering, resistors, I/O and interfaces helps.
